My husband and I did a city break in New Orleans towards the end of May. It was magic. Wonderful food ! Wonderful music! I haven't yet checked to see if the hotel where we stayed in the French Quarter is on your list yet, but I will. It is worth recommending to other people. The Courtyard (especially for lunch), K Paul's and Mr B's - all terrific - but that first lunch of soft shelled crab at The Courtyard was especially memorable. This was the best food a widely travelled and dined couple have enjoyed. Now back at work it all seems far away, but it is a place to come back to for us.
