I just happened onto your site as I was browsing the [wonderful] WWW. I am a New Orleans native, born and raised in the Irish Channel. What a way to grow up! It was a combination of feeling at ease in the midst of thousands of revelers scrambling for beads [that was before dubloons] and naively assuming that the two major religions were Catholic and Public. I now reside on the tranquil shores of Lake Lanier, site of the 1996 Olympic Rowing Venue and the 1996 Paralympic yachting competition.Not withstanding all the natural beauty in my adopted home, I really know what it means to miss New Orleans. Finding your site was like catching a whiff of coffee and chickory on the early morning breeze off Lake Ponchartrain! I'll be back!
