New Orleans -- "the most addictive city in North America! possibly the world" Hmm. my first visit May 93, at which time I discovered the most (for lack of a better word) "addictive" city. I have been drawn back to the French Quarter ever since and enticing friends to join me, they too are now hooked and we now make it a annual thing, every long weekend in May. From the fabulous cuisine, buzzing night life, awesome music, historical sites, there is definitely something for all walks of life. I travel all over the world and New Orleans has a uniqueness that is incomparable to any other destination. My advice to all is to visit at least once in your lifetime (#11 for us).
