I just had to tell you that my husband and I came to New Orleans from Oct. 30-Nov. 2 for several reasons. One being it was Halloween which is also our anniversary (we celebrated #2 with y'all), we never got a honeymoon, we haven't been on vacation yet, and I just absolutely had to come to "The Big Easy" to check everything out. I want you all to know what a BLAST we had in New Orleans. I've always wanted to go and definitely plan on coming back. Everyone there was so polite and laid back, and it was everything I expected and more. It's no wonder everyone wants to come over. We went to Harrah's, Cafe du Monde, a few other "hot spots", and Bourbon St. was just AWESOME!! And of course, we had to go to Pat O'Brien's and have the infamous "Hurricane". We, of course, indulged and had 2 each. Definitely gotta have more!! We stayed at the Maison Dupuy and give it on a scale of 1-10 a 100+. I have never felt so welcomed on a trip. Please don't ever change. I'll be seeing you in the spring or summer of 2000. I'm recommending that everyone go to New Orleans at least once in their lives. They WILL NOT regret it.
