I am from New Mexico, and I took my brother one year to Mardi Gras. It was his first and my second experience. We had a blast! We were waiting for the ferry to take us across the Mississippi and this dog came walking up to us. He was wearing some beads on his neck, and we thought it was absolutely hilarious. So my brother asked him to throw us some beads...and the dog shook his head and tossed us some beads! I still have those beads today. Nobody believes us that a dog would throw beads, but my brother and I don't doubt it for a second.
