How to explain my feelings about New Orleans? Love at first sight. I can't seem to get enough. I try to go every year (this year I am taking my mother-in-law). I actually "pine" for this city! If I had a choice, we would live there. The French Quarter is like stepping back in time with all the modern conveniences. The old World meeting the New. I could wander the streets of the Garden District for hours, over and over gazing at the magnificent homes and wondering about all the past and present lives. The streetcar is a wonderful way to visit famous St. Charles Avenue, something you don't want to miss. I could go on and on here. The food, the music, the culture and the people. There is nowhere I would rather be! This sight is very informative and helpful/
