My husband and I spent a WONDERFUL 10 days in NO at the end of December. My fondest memory (among many)was our Christmas Eve (day) lunch at the Embassy Suites. We had spent the morning touring the D-Day Museum and stumbled on the ES for lunch since not very much was open. What a pleasant surprise.... We were treated like ROYALTY by all staff and servers. The buffet lunch was pretty darn good but...Our firstglass of wine was a complimentary "MErry Christmas" from the bartender. The rest of the service was the friendliest,warmest and most attentive as any of the high-profile restaurants we went to later in the week. The absolute best dessert I had anywhere in NO (even Commander's, Arnaud's and Brennan's did not top this) was the Bread Pudding (heated up in the oven special for me) that we experienced there. 4 Stars to ES...my next visit I will stay there and definitely eat there...Your staff did a fab job of promoting the city to a couple of Yankees ..these ladies were THE BEST!!!!!I wish I knew their names I would send them a personl thank you!!
