My now husband and I visited New Orleans in 2000 and are planning another trip in March 03. I was floored by this awesome city and her history. The most awesome sites I saw while there were St. Louis Cathedral and the beautiful Monument to the Immigrant that stands at the riverfront. I was brought up in a fairly small city and hate anything larger than Atlanta, but if given the chance, I will make New Orleans my home someday. I don't know what the attraction is other than the beauty of the riverfront and history, because I am not a partier at all. We were just so impressed with the whole trip. Every new thing we did or saw left us amazed. I can't WAIT to go back.
