New Orleans reaches deep into my psyche and reminds me that magic is real. Everything today has it's share of shadows and darkness, and that rule doesn't change for New Orleans. However, New Orleans compensates by reminding us that art (physical, musical, and natural) is for the people and (sometimes) by the people to be enjoyed daily. New Orleans is a living, passionate, beautiful, inspiring, wild, creative, seductive collage of some of the most independent thinking population of the USA.... New Orleans is the only place that has ever coaxed tears of joy from my eyes, from miles overhead far beyond the normal range of gravitational pull. I will love you forever.
