My husband and I have been back home for a little over a week after our trip to New Orleans. We stayed at the Maison Dupuy in the French Quarter - a lovely hotel with a beautiful courtyard/pool. We had a blast from listening to various types of music on bourbon street (we especially loved "The Big Easy Band") to the tours we went on - swamp/vampire and cemetary, which were a lot of fun. We also rented a car and visited the San Franciso and Oak Valley Plantations - amazing. We also rode the trolly through the Garden District - beautiful. I could go on and on with what we saw and did, but to sum it up we had a fantastic time, but of special note - the people are genuine and are glad to see you. We will be coming back soon!
