My first Madri Gras 1986. Just moved there from Key West and several of my friends and I partied for three weeks, up and down Bourbon Street, French Quarter and all over Nawlins. It was a real adventure and one I will never forget. As I look at the Big Easy today, 29 August 2005, I am shattered to see the destruction of the town I had one of my most famous memories of. It is destroyed, sure it will be replaced, but the ole will never be replaced. So, all I have is my good memories. I just hope that the people of New Orleans can get back to normalcy and be the city once again. I know it will come back but I don't thinkI will ever see it like it was back in 1986. God Bless.
