I visited your wonderful city three years ago before my marriage. I probably had more than my share of Hurricanes. The city was so receptive and easygoing then that it is hard to believe the current devastation of the city. My prayers are with the city residents and the officials. I pray for the residents that have made it out, because many are homeless and faced the daunting task of rebuilding. I know that America can rebuild. The nation did it before in Galveston in 1900 after the worst Hurricane in U.S. history, and it can be done again. New Orleans may never be the same but it can be better... Please, let us all help the relief efforts however we can. Let us pray. Let us call our legislators and ask for more relief. Let us donate money to the red cross and other organizations.
