A few years ago I was marching along the French Quarter and got into the Pete Fountain "Half-Fast" Parade. I jumped on a fire engine and rode with Pete all the way to the private party at the Hilton Hotel. I followed everyone inside until I was discovered and kicked out. I still had a great time with Pete, tho! Happy Mardi Gras!!!!
