I know what it means to miss New Orleans. I am a displaced Cajun and New Orleans Saints fan. What I love about New Orleans is hard to put into words but I can say that if a woman ever had a mistress, New Orleans is mine! I miss all of the sights, sounds and aromas that make New Orleans an addiction. How can you replace a stroll through the French Market early Sunday morning, followed by some hot beignets after a night on Bourbon Street, the Jax Brewery and the Moon Walk? You can't. The old oak trees that line the thin street of Uptown Nawlins seem to have their own aura - that of good, Southern earth and years of growth within a city of mystery and revelry. I love New Orleans for she is unique and the place I am still proud to call home. Hey, pass the crawfish, Cher! And don't forget Dixie!
