Wow! We had the most amazing experience in NOLA over Easter weekend. Everyone told us the city would be dead at that time... they were wrong! We had a 5-day visit that was both exciting (Bourbon Street after midnight) and peaceful (Garden District on a sunny afternoon) with great food ...; excellent music (impromptu outdoor concerts were our favorite, and the wait at Preservation Hall was worth it), the best aquarium we've seen, and fun shops all over the city. Even our cab drivers were friendly and welcoming and said they would be expecting us back next year. Our only regret was not taking a tour of a cemetery. We'll make sure to do that next year. Thanks for a great vacation!
