I just happened onto your site as I was browsing the [wonderful] WWW. I am a New Orleans native, born and raised in the Irish Channel. What a way to grow up! It was a combination of feeling at ease in the midst of thousands of revelers scrambling for beads [that was before doubloons] and naively assuming that the two major religions were Catholic and Public. I now reside on the tranquil shores of Lake Lanier. Not withstanding all the natural beauty in my adopted home, I really know what it means to miss New Orleans. Finding your site was like catching a whiff of coffee and chicoryon the early morning breeze off Lake Pontchartrain! I'll be back!
