I've been to many cities in the country, but New Orleans ranks first in my heart. We spent 10 days in May roaming around the French Quarter. We enjoyed walking at Royal St. browsing at beautiful antiques, Bourbon St. with its jazz and blues beat. We loved having breakfast at Cafe du Monde, dinner at Royal Cafe and other very good restaurants. Jackson Square was our resting place in the afternoon. We toured the Garden District, Cemeteries, a swamp tour with a doctor (Honey Island Swamp!), and a Natchez cruise. The people are very nice ... Are we going back? YES, I will never forget this wonderful experience and I want to repeat it again very soon.
