Louisiana knows a thing or two about seafood. Seafood aficionados and some of the state’s premier chefs come together at Woldenberg Riverfront Park to celebrate the food and culture of the state’s favorite seafood group.
Skip breakfast. The Louisiana Seafood Festival features dozens of food vendors from New Orleans and beyond so you know that this is going to be a delicious event.
Top chefs will be showing off their skills and sharing their seafood secrets. You’re sure to learn more than a thing or two and pick up some great cooking tips at the food demonstrations.
Of course, since this is a New Orleans festival, there is music! With a full schedule each day of top local favorites, you can dance away the tasty seafood related calories.
For the shoppers there will be an Arts & Crafts Village, a perfect way to get some of your holiday shopping done early. For the younger seafood lovers, there’s a Kid’s Pavilion with special activities for the little ones.
The event is open 11am to 9pm on Friday and Saturday, then 11am to 7pm on Sunday. The $10 general admission each day supports the Louisiana Hospitality Foundation.
