MARDI GRAS PARADE KREWES
Krewe of Jefferson
Founded in 1972, The Krewe of Jefferson is the last truck parade in Jefferson Parish. Following right behind The Krewe of Jeffersonians on Mardi Gras Day, it signals the offical "beginning of the end" of Carnival in Jefferson Parish. Comprised of 3500 male and female riders, this parade features 75 trucks and its own unique throws from the krewe.
