Krewe of Pegasus
Founded in 1957, Krewe of Pegasus is named for the winged horse of Greek mythology, born of the blood of Medusa. Formed by 350 men and women members, Pegasus is known as the Krewe that never cancels it activities because of weather conditions. The krewe recently changed its official colors. They are white, which represents the clouds through which the mighty steed shall ride; and blue, representing the sky in which Pegasus soars; and Silver, which represents the majesty of his flight.
