Our fist visit to New Orleans was August 2005. We happened to end our trip 2 days before the mandatory evacuation. By the time we got home, we had driven, we were glued to the television to watch as the world ignored a place we fell in love with instantly. My husband and I made the committment to return to New Orleans every 2 years and we have just booked our 3rd trip. We always stay at Le Richelieu which we love and get exicted just thinking about returning. We think of the people of New Orleans every day.
