New Orleans is my second home. There is no other place like it in the world - the combination of the smell of beignets, the sound of horse-drawn carriages, and the sights of the city are enough to last me through the times that I have to spend away. As a young girl, I would walk through the French Quarter and feel completely at ease. I have spent many a night walking along the moon walk and watching the Mississippi roll to the Gulf. New Orleans is a place I will never forget.
