New Orleans International Beer Festival
Fellow craft beer aficionados, prepare your taste buds (and liver). The New Orleans International Beer Festival takes place at Champions Square, generally on the third Saturday in March.
The Beer Festival proudly showcases more than 150 craft beers from local brewers to international imports.
Expect beers from local mainstay Abita, regional up-and-comers like Bayou Teche Biere and Parish Brewing, as well as newer beers such as Crooked Letter Brewing, Southern Prohibition Brewing Company and Chafunkta Brewing Company.
The Festival will feature an Education Area where patrons can learn about cooking with beer, food pairings, Sam Adams history and other topics.
If you want more than just beer for some reason, the outdoor festival will feature food, live music and a corn hole tournament.
The Festival generally takes place from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Champions Square next to the Mercedes-Benz Superdome (La Salle Street). The show will go on rain or shine.
