Chinchuba Institute, a long regarded and nationally recognized local school that provides early intervention and preschool education to children with hearing impairment, autism spectrum disorders and other speech and language delays through its KidSpeak Learning Center, will host its second annual “Look Who’s Talking Now” Gala and Silent Auction, STARRING JOHNNY ANGEL & THE SWINGIN' DEMONS, on Saturday, October 17, 2009 from 7:00 p.m. till Midnight at Southport Hall at 200 Monticello Avenue, Jefferson, Louisiana 70121. New Orleans Friends of Music teams up with Loyola University New Orleans to present exciting masterclasses and a concert by internationally acclaimed virtuosos Lera Auerbach, piano, and Ani Aznavoorian, cello. The concert will feature original works and arrangements by Auerbach and Rachmaninoff.
The two will join forces in a concert on Friday, Oct. 30, at 7:30 p.m., in Roussel Hall, located in the Communications/Music Complex.
