I spent a wonderful afternoon in the French Quarter this past Sunday with my wife and daughter as we went to see my cousin Sal’s son (also named Sal Mannino) perform as the MC at the Cats Meow (a Bourbon Street club at the corner St. Peter Street).
The French Quarter is definitely back. There were a large number of people there over an hour before “happy hour” and many of them signed up to “perform” on stage or just sat back and enjoyed the early show.
