September 25th’s Monday Night Football game between the New Orleans Saints and the Atlanta Falcons will be in the newly renovated Superdome! A live, nationally televised audience will highlight the city and its recovery for all of those who love to visit New Orleans. The rivalry with the Falcons always guarantees a large influx of Georgia fans.
On December 22, 2006, New Orleans and the Superdome will host The New Orleans Bowl…which kicks off the bowl season with a Sun Belt Conference school vs a Conference USA school…this always brings lots of college football fans to the city.
January 3, 2007 is the Sugar Bowl in the Superdome…one of the premier football bowl games of the year. Hotels generally package 4 and 5 night stays in the city, including spending New Year’s Eve in New Orleans where we celebrate with fireworks over the river.
