This recently came from a visitor to Experience New Orleans!
A Helping Hand.
Thought to be lost picture from Mardi Gras 06. This picture is of my wife and a little girl at Lee Circle catching throws. They had never met before this time. It brings a tear to my eye every time I see it. If you look closely you’ll see them holding hands.
In the wake of Katrina we almost canceled our trip to New Orleans, but we didn’t; and I came away with 2 things, having the opportunity to spend my wife’s 40th birthday in New Orleans, which happens to fall on Fat Tuesday, and this picture which I think speaks volumes?
I titled it, A HELPING HAND.
