New Orleans After The Super BowlIt’s been a whirlwind of a week. Months, sometimes even years of preparations went into getting ready for the big game. It seemed like forever for last week to get here and now it’s over in a flash. We’re sad to see all of the 49’ers fans, Ravens fans and football fans leave. It's like we just got to know you and already you're going back home.

We enjoyed sharing the excitement and our city with you. We enjoyed sharing a blackout with you. It was just a ploy to keep you here longer, so that we could spend more time together.

But seriously, we loved seeing the smiling faces as you browsed our historic avenues and beautiful streets. We enjoyed sharing our favorite restaurants with you, seeing the purple jerseys and the red jerseys at the table next to us at brunch. We loved talking football with the fans and loved sharing all of our treasured places with you.

We hoped you enjoyed it as much as we did. We hope that you can come back again soon, explore the rest of our beautiful city and share another conversation over a pint glass or cup a of café au lait. We hope that you come back and enjoy the celebration called Mardi Gras, or listen to the music during Jazz Fest. We’ll be thinking about you, I hope you’ll be thinking of us!

Overall, thank you for visiting with us and sharing the excitement of the game. It truly was a spectacular week that we'll never forget.
