For 106 years, the Lousiana Derby has served as the premier horseracing competition for the state of Louisiana. Hosted at the Fair Grounds Race Course and Slots, this year's derby takes place March 26.
The race is held on a 1 3/16 mile dirt track, with recent purses in the $1 million range.
General admission tickets range from $10-20. Clubhouse boxes are available to reserve.
