NOLA on Tap Beer Fest
- Date: TBD
- Location: New Orleans City Park festival grounds
Due to Covid 19, there will not be a NOLA on Tap Beer Fest for 2020 or 2021. This page will be updated when we know details for 2022.
Time for Some Special Beer at NOLA On Tap
How many beers can you drink? Probably a few, but probably not 400. Thankfully, if you go to NOLA On Tap at the New Orleans City Park festival grounds from 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm, you won’t have to drink every single beer you’ll see there.
Rivers of brew
Join 25,000 beer lovers this year as Nola kick's off Oktoberfest with the absolute largest and most outrageous beer festival in the region. If your mouth’s watering over the idea of being able to sample more than 400 exciting beer brands, On Tap has what you’re craving:
- Local brews
- National brews
- Home-brewed specialties
- Microbrew creations
And here are some of the varieties you’ll be able to get your hands on: Great Raft Double Dry Hopped Commotion; Terrapin Vapricot; Bayou Teche 31 Stout; Southern
Prohibition Jack The Sipper – E.S.B.; Rogue Chipotle Ale; NOLA 7th Street; Gnarly Barley Korova Milk Porter and hundreds more. Comparing the same-old store brand beer to these strategically crafted masterpieces would be like comparing a hiccup to a hurricane. You’ll see.
Other drinks and tons of food
Along with the brew, there will be plenty of Barefoot Wine, Velvet Cactus Margaritas and Coca-Cola for the non-drinkers and those under 21. And, of course, no New Orleans bash is complete without awesome food. Some of the food vendors already signed up include Seither’s Seafood, Dat’z Italian Wood-Fired Pizza, Crepes a la Carte, Ajun Cajun Ninja and many others.
Ready to rock
Another thing celebrations in the Big Easy must have is music. NOLA On Tap will have what you’re looking for with live tunes going all day. Organizers are still putting the bill together, so check the On Tap Entertainment page to see who’s going to be playing. Last year’s event featured Huzefa Art of Music, Colin Lake, Cardinal Sons and the Honey Island Swamp Band.
Help the Louisiana SPCA
As with most of New Orleans’ spectacular festivals and events, there’s a reason behind the fun and adventure. NOLA On Tap will serve as a benefit for the Louisiana SPCA, with all proceeds going to this vital organization that helps to protect and find homes for many types of animals in need. By attending the festival, you not only have a blast, but you also do something good for our four-legged critter-friends.
