Part presentation, part performance, scholar Laurent Dubois and local musician Don Vappie will explore the history of the banjo, an instrument that embodies the centuries-old cultural exchange between New Orleans and the Caribbean.

The event will feature an archival show-and-tell about THNOC’s extensive holdings related to the banjo.

General admission tickets are $20 and space is very limited. Don't miss it!
