Foodies and wine aficionados, can I please have your attention? Every year, the Big Easy plays host to the New Orleans Wine and Food Experience, something that you don’t want to miss if you love food and can appreciate a good wine.

The annual New Orleans Wine and Food Experience brings together winemakers from all over the world, talented and well known chefs and industry leaders. Here they showcase their talents and hard work during a series of events to educate, entertain and inspire both producers and consumers of these indulgent foods and extravagant wines.

The highlight of the NOWFE is easily the Grand Tastings on Friday and Saturday, which feature 1,000 wines from 175 wineries and 75 chefs serving up regional culinary delights. If you can only attend one part of the event, this can’t be missed. 

Of course, there’s so much more to do. You’ll want to check out the Royal Street Stroll, which is a street party the likes of which can be only be found in New Orleans. As you stroll down Royal Street, exploring the antique shops and art galleries, you’ll encounter a wide range of wines and delicious snacks. 

There will also be winner dinners hosted at more than thirty New Orleans restaurants, seminars that explore culinary and wine trends, as well as a two food competitions. The first is the Big Gateaux Show, a pastry completion which features delicious pastries paired with champagne.
