The 9th Annual NOLA ChristmasFest will kick off on December 21. The family-oriented holiday festival will wrap up on December 30 giving locals and visiting families 10 days to experience the Christmas spirit.
This year is sure to be enchanting with a myriad of dazzling holiday lights, the annual Hall of Trees featuring more than 70 Christmas trees decorated by local businesses and organizations, and the centerpiece of this year's festivities - an indoor ice skating rink which is sure to bring out the child in everyone.
NOLA ChristmasFest will take place inside Hall H at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and will continue on Christmas Eve and on Christmas Day.
For 10 wonderful days this winter, children and adults alike will experience the magic of the holiday season at NOLA ChristmasFest. Regardless of the frightful weather outside, it’s always delightful inside where guests will find dazzling holiday décor and activities for all ages. New Orleans’ only REAL ice rink returns along with carnival rides, inflatables, ice slides, children’s crafts, a snowball zone, beautifully decorated Christmas trees and a gingerbread house display. The festival has expanded by 50,000 square feet this year to make room for even more holiday fun including Bouncy! The World’s Tallest Snowman, a life-sized snow globe perfect for selfies, and curling games. Military and First Responders with valid ID enjoy half-priced admission and special events on Fridays in honor of their service. NOLA ChristmasFest is even open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! The festival is a perfect location to host birthday parties and corporate events.
