Frenchmen Street

If you’re looking for more jazz, jazz, jazz and less girls!, girls!, girls!, you may prefer Frenchmen over Bourbon Street. While there are lots of wonderful clubs on Bourbon, many visitors join the local crowd at the restaurants and clubs on Frenchmen, not far away in the Marigny. Many clubs have a 21 and over age requirement to get in but some allow kids until 10:00 p.m. The street itself is also filled with brass bands, poets, hula-hoop troopers and more.
