Many people across the country are under the impression that New Orleans is still under water post-Katrina. That is far from the truth.

The New Orleans that the visitors know and love is alive and well. Hotels, Restaurants and attractions have been reopened, some for well over a year now, and visitors are having a great experience.

Since many conventions scheduled in New Orleans for 2007 chose to relocate their meetings in other cities, now is the best time to come to our great city. Hotels are offering great rates and the 80,000 people who depend on tourism to support their families are eager to make sure you have a wonderful experience.
