With Halloween just around the corner, parents and kids alike are already picking out their costumes and favorite candy. Before knocking on your neighbors' doors for candy, be sure to check out the great events going on around town!

The Audobon Zoo, in conjunction with the Children's Hospital, presents Boo at the Zoo at 5 p.m. on Oct 22, 23, 29, and 30. Kids can trick-or-treat, ride the Mombassa Ghost Train, explore a haunted house, and play games with prizes.

Be sure to catch this year's official Halloween parade on Oct. 30th in the "Boo Carre" district. The parade features scary costumes, elaborately designed floats, candy and prizes, bands and more. Plan your spot to catch goodies by checking out the parade course at the Krewe of Halloween's site.
