Bring chairs or a blanket to the Goldring/Woldenberg Great Lawn on Wednesday for patriotic tunes from the Marine Forces Reserve Band, special appearances by local performers, patriotic singalongs, fireworks over the Peristyle at 9 p.m. and more. There’s no better way to celebrate the red, white and blue than the 3rd of July with fireworks shooting from a barge on the Mississippi River in rhythm to patriotic tunes.
