Baby FestHave extra pacifiers and bottles ready, 'cause the Baby Fest is coming to New Orleans. On October 2nd, the Ponchartrain Center will host over seventy-five exhibitor booths with everything that new or expecting parents could need, including boutiques, photographers, health & fitness, natural parenting, baby services and more.

Event promoters are giving away $10,000 worth of door prizes, plus swag bags to the first 50 moms and moms-to-be. You certainly won't want to miss your chance at the grand prize giveaway of a two-night stay at the Beau Rivage Resort including dinner for two and a $150 spa credit.

Kids can hang out with special guests Curious George from WYES and local children's Cajun and Zydeco musician Papillion, or they can get their faces painted and participate in Gym Rompers activities.

Don't worry, dads. There's something for you here, as well. Find the "Dad Zone" and kick back on the sofa to watch college football on the big screen TV. Or, you can put your diaper changing skills to the test in the Daddy Diaper Derby.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and costs only $5 for adults. Don't miss out!
