The New Orleans Film Society hosts its 21st New Orleans Film Festival beginning Thursday, October 14th and continuing to Thursday the 21st.
This year, the opening night's events include music by Sasha Masakowski & Musical Playground and the Treme Brass Band. Food will be prepared by Chef Ian Schnoebelen and cocktails prepared by Mixologist Alan Walter.
The Film Society will show a wide variety of films in categories such as narrative features, documentary features, narrative shorts, documentary shorts, Louisiana shorts, animated shorts, and experimental shorts.
For non-NOFS members, individual tickets can be purchased for $9, and six-film passes can be purchased for $45.
