New Orleans women are always up for a good time – especially when it’s for a good cause. This year, gather your FestiBesties together and make plans to attend FestiGals 2019, Friday, June 21 to Sunday, June 23 at the Jung Hotel & Residences on Canal Street. Proceeds from the event will benefit the American Heart Association.
One Day 1, at the Celebrating Women’s Conference, highlights include sessions with cupcake mogul Mignon Francois and this year’s Grand Diva, fiddler Amanda Shaw among others. You’ll enjoy FestiTalks, fast-paced, five-minute sessions with successful women about health, nutrition, fashion, community causes, business savvy and more. There will also be a colorful Hats Off Awards Luncheon and dinner at Dooky Chase, owned by culinary legend Leah Chase, the Queen of Creole Cuisine.
Day 2 will include a Garden District home tour, a FestiLuncheon at a surprise location, a tour of Seven Three Distillery, a Step Up Pre-Party at the Old U.S. Mint, a rousing Step Up Second Line Parade in the French Quarter, and a Step After-glow Party at Harrah’s.
And on Day 3, the party wraps up with a Drag Queen Brunch in the Jung Hotel Ballroom.
