Gretna Heritage Festival – Gretna Fest will certainly be this weekend's biggest event in the New Orleans area, with seven stages featuring classic headline acts like Lynyrd Skynyrd and Grand Funk Railroad in the historic downtown of Gretna. October 7th – 9th

The Drowsy Chaperone – The musical The Drowsy Chaperone continues its run this weekend at the Westwego Performing Arts Theatre Friday and Saturday night, with a Sunday matinee.

Oktoberfest at Crescent City Brewhouse – Celebrate Oktoberfest with some New Orleans jazz music at the Crescent City Brewhouse nightly throughout the month of October. Menus for the month feature Bavarian dishes paired with local brews.
