Carnival Latino ... a celebration of extraordinary Latin music and the Hispanic heritage and culture...takes place this coming weekend! This event is a 3-day festival that will feature headline entertainment held in Downtown New Orleans August 24th, 25th and 26th, 2007 and will be the entertainment certerpiece to the State of Louisiana's "World Cultural Economic Forum", CX-1. The event elements will include: a traditional New Orleans parade with a Latin twist that features visiting musical stars and will be led by a celebrity king or queen; top headline
entertainment, music and folkloric dance representing Latin America, Spain, Portugal and the Caribbean and an extensive array of Hispanic food and drinks, the visual arts and interactive entertainment and activities for people of all ages.
