Take a Zyrtec and head to Destrehan Plantation this March 21 and 22 for their 4th Annual Spring Garden and Pet Show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Come see more than 80 vendors offering houseplants, fruit trees, vegetable plants, porch and patio decor, garden art and crafts, as well as pet food and accessories.There will also be live music, great local food, and fascinating presentations on gardening, wildlife and responsible pet care. Your little ones can enjoy a ton of fun kid’s activities, including a petting zoo featuring a baby kangaroo! Unless you’re allergic to a good time, we can think of no reason not to hop on over to this fun event on the breathtaking grounds of Louisiana’s oldest documented plantation.
